Hein is one of Plain Vanilla Investments’ original founders. At Plain Vanilla, Hein has fulfilled management and executive roles at a number of healthcare organisations (hospital, mental healthcare, elderly care, laboratory etc.) varying in size from small (EUR 2m turnover) to larger ones (over EUR 150m turnover). Previously, Hein worked at Business Creation Europe. Before Hein started in private equity in 2000, he worked as an auditor and a transaction services advisor for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Hein holds a master’s degree in business economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and is a (non-practising) certified public accountant.
